    • Remember who these people are, completely mislead from the get and they don't want to admit how wrong they were, though it will become easier the deeper his sinks his on legacy.

    • Man I wish they would all just go fuck themselves already. That number (especially in this biz) is getting smaller and smaller... but... enough already.

    • Here is another great trumpeter I used to go see at the Vanguard all the time, less heralded than Freddie but a monster.  Woody was from Newark, he got a little crazy, he was going blind too, I think he was drinking to much or too much umpty, but there were times when he was on stage and would start doing tae kwon do poses.

Anyhow he eventually had a load on and wondered or fell onto the subways tracks and got run over, a tragic event but I believe he wanted to go out or was maybe just too out of it.

This is his most popular song he wrote, could have easily been a theme for a TV show, 'Moontrane'

Well, you're pretty close in that assessment, that's Freddie Hubbard who is one of the top five trumpet players in the history of Jazz.  This footage is from the late eighties or early nineties, I used to see this group at the Vanguard often, Freddie is one of my favorites musicians and I still frequently listen to his records, especially the ones he made in the early sixties.

There are a bunch of Freddies records that are considered classic, 'Red Clay', 'Sky Dive', 'First Light'', numerous ones on the Blue Note record label and CTI recordings from the early 1970's.  I hung out with him on several occasions, he was a crazy dude, but a beautiful person and a lot of fun to be around.

I saw Freddie in 1973 with the band in this video [see below].  He was playing at a college my cousin was attending and I went to see him then spent the night at my cousins apartment.  I took my camera and snapped a bunch of pictures of him, I think they are at my sisters house.  I later became good friends with the drummer in this video, met him through a very close friend as they were in Vietnam together, I still see Michael occasionally though Freddie died some years back.

This is the same tune from the other video 'The Intriped Fox'

I'm talking the kind of jazz that puts you on edge... makes you uncomfortable and your heart race. Lot's of dissonance and nothing but chaos for the most part.

That would not be the 1970's, the sea's parted and the stars aligned in music throughout that decade, especially in jazz as well as all genres.

      You're talking about this

      And this

Ornette was the quintessential a-tonal master of improvistion

Cecil never played a diatonic sequence of notes in his life, I had a girlfriend at a pub in the Village who was close with Cecil, I always saw him there at the end of the bar, but I never spoke to him

Well lad, if these tracks don't get you scratching the back of your head and walking with a limp, I'll leave it up to my man hb to take you for a ride

Yes EXACTLY. Or during some violent chase scene or something. They played stuff like this in the movie Whiplash as well. I've been a fan of this style of music since I was a kid and it's high time I get my hands on some of it. I've never known where to find it.

    • Nope, sorry. The closest thing is that Streets of San Francisco intro song I posted. Looking for more intense and avant garde...

    • Today is my day off and it so far has been horrible.  Been having trouble with with slow internet speed, so after about two hours on the phone with customer service representatives from India on Sunday night, they determined I need a new modem.

So I give them my  address for delivery, get the notification for delivery and come to find out these idiots used a delivery address that was six years old.  Went in and redirected it to a local FX location, which meant instead of the convenience of having a package delivered to my home, had to go out of my way about 8 blocks to pick it up, my ISP did take off the delivery fee though.

So I get my modem this morning, hook it up, call support to help with the set up, which had a whole share of problems associated with it.  After close to over an hour and a half with the tech from India, it was still as slow as it was when I first called them.  So they call my phone company to schedule a technician to come out to the house to check the lines, which I have ZERO, that is 0, NADA, not even one ounce or smidgen of confidence that the phone company will correct the problem.  It's more trouble that it is worth and if I could find another ISP for my block, that is ultimately what I need to do, that's another chore altogether.

So my day off today sucks, I called in sick on Tuesday because after fifteen years of customer service, I'm burnt out, I need to go back to making things.  I had a call from a woman on Monday who was irritated that she had to call CS twice in one day, it only involved her handling an order that was for several thousand dollars, but as some people are complete jaded assholes and want the world to come into their bathroom in the morning and wipe their ass for them, it was my job to talk her off the ledge, tell her everything is alright and to sit back into to her perfect world and try not to fart too loudly.

I'm over it all, client interfacing, conflict resolutions, take a flying shit at the moon is my advice.  I need more days off, many more.

    • I really don't get to take days off; I am the first line of support for YNOT Mail so I work after hours, weekends, holidays.... Today is a rare day off and only because I will be without a computer for most of the day.

My daughter is a huge Hamilton fan, so for Christmas we bought her Hamilton tickets. Tickets are expensive and hard to get, but my daughter is REALLY into this - last year she had a Hamilton themed birthday party. So today we are going into the city for the day. Ironically, the theater is a block from the fancy Italian restaurant I've wanted to try for some time now.

Oh he had a reason alright. Hopefully in his after world he's getting his sphincter resized by 72 virgins.

But that's a bit vague. I mean, you and I say "72 virgins" and we have visions of dozens of hot babes having sex with us.

How we do not know it means you end up in prison being gang raped by 72 well hung men?

    • YNOT is kicking off our VIP Quickies series, presented by DivaTraffic!! We have put together several short dialogues with interesting and influential people from the online adult entertainment business at trade shows earlier this year. I had the pleasure of sitting with KennyB! from for our very first one and we covered some of his unusual guerrilla marketing tactics as well as his unique insights from being in the biz a long time. We here at YNOT hope you enjoy these clips and are able to get a few laughs out of them and maybe even a few tips along the way. Many more to come!!

    • I've been studying a girl on there that seems to only perform a few days per week and only 3 hours or so at a time. But each time she is on she is the #1 most popular girl. She gets a steady stream of 1,000+ tokens every few minutes. She's a pale, thin, young and bubbly girl who sings and just has a good time. She does not even promise to get naked, and when she does all she will do is manual stimulation. No toys or kinky stuff nor with anyone else. Guys just love her personality. I think that's so cool!

Few last very long on CB because it is completely exhausting, for the viewer and especially the performers.  Those, regardless of what country or region of the world they broadcast from, who have gone the distance, and by that I mean several or more years, look completely haggard and worn out.  Think about it, you spend all of your time in front of a camera showing your ass, only perhaps stopping to eat, what type of life do you have? none, zero.

What does that mean? That they spend 18 hours a day on camera? I find this unlikely.

Most of the cam girls I know work part time and make more money than I do.
